Dr. Jayashree Kadambi, a special educator from Chennai, is a Supportive, Creative, Compassionate, and Accommodating individual who carries herself with might and self-confidence. She was born on July 3rd in Pudupalayam, Tamil Nadu.
She is the founder of Jay's hidden treasure.
After finishing her schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya and college in KGF, she began her career in Bangalore. On May 10, 2000, she married a wonderful man, IT engineer Ann Srinivas. She lived in New Jersey, USA, where she gave birth to two handsome boys, Aditya Srinivas and Akhil Srinivas.
Aditya is 19 and just completed his 12th grade. He had a successful year as Imagine Annettes, president of Chennai Bharathi. Akhil is 14 years old and loves to chant Vedam and Divya Prabandham. Both boys enjoy doing yoga and running.
3. As a fitness freak, Dr. Jayashree loves running and cycling, as they take her into a meditative state and keep her calm, composed, and patient. She has completed four half marathons and long-distance cycling up to 175 km. As a dedicated special educator, she believes in imparting her knowledge to the children of the golden sun.
She has trained students with learning disabilities and autism for fitness to help them improve their overall development.
4. Professionally, she is a Versatile and dedicated child advocate who focuses on the individual needs of children with special needs.

A very Kindhearted and empathetic professional who is flexible and accommodating in designing and implementing inspiring hands-on lessons, employing wide-ranging manipulative and IEPs to enhance student achievements. She worked at Sankalp, the open school, and now is the founder of Jay’s Hidden Treasure.
She started her rotary journey in April 2016. At a club level, she has served as the director for public image, inspiring secretary in 2018 -19, editor of Bharathi bytes bulletin for two consecutive years, Chairman of literacy, and youth service director for 2022-23. At the district level, she served as chairman – of literacy in 2021-22, associate chairman in club service, literacy, and family participation in 2019 -20
She has contributed to society by serving the needy and helping children with special needs.
In October 2022, she was invited as a keynote speaker at the international conference on learning disabilities organized by the Hamsa Rehab Foundation. She has also been interviewed by TV channels like Malai Murasu and Cho TV and invited as a speaker at the Anna University Media Sciences Department. In addition, she has conducted several workshops for parents, teachers, and students on various topics.
6. She is a recipient of several awards. She has recently received the Nation Builder Award from the Rotary Club of West Coast Mumbai, the Lakshiya Magudam Awards 2022, the Karnataka Mahila Ratna Award in Mysuru, an HONORARY DOCTORATE FROM WORLD HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION COMMISSION IN SOCIAL SERVICE AND SPECIAL EDUCATION.
7. Her dream is to aspire and inspire women to identify themselves with fitness, which will, in turn, lead to a healthy lifestyle
She feels that working with children with special needs is a blessing and is lucky to be chosen. She is the president of the Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi for 2023-24. Under her leadership, she has completed more than 280 projects in the past 11 months, which have significantly impacted society. The Mega multi-district paralympic sports meet held in February 2024 has been recognized across the other districts of Rotary. This project also won awards.
